Automotive Parts Manufacturer Chooses Modular Building Solution

Project Situation

An automotive parts manufacturer needed office space for 4 to 6 people and a break room for 20 people at its' new facility. Since floor space was at a premium, a two story modular building was to be assembled.

Project Solution

The client chose a modular building system to solve their space issue.

Modular building construction is versatile, effective and conserves resources:

  • Assembled quickly
  • Moved easily in the future
  • Keeps the job site clean during construction
  • Minimizes contractor personnel (i.e. sheet rockers, painters, framers)
  • Depreciates more slowly than permanent building construction

Project Result

  • The modular building system was designed, manufactured and installed in less than 8 weeks and included PE- stamped drawings, permitting, electrical, HVAC, and a sprinkler system.
  • Flooring on the floor level was vinyl tile with carpeting on the second level.
  • The stairway, handrail, and modular building met International Building Code requirements necessary for local code compliance.
